Dark Heart Tattoo has been founded, owned, and operated by Joseph Beatty since 2013 . Joe started his career in 2005, and has been tattooing full time ever since. He has been working in the northern Illinois area for the last 18 years, opening Dark Heart in Crystal Lake, Illinois in 2013. This versatile artist specializes in neo-traditional, color, black and grey, portrait, American traditional, traditional Japanese, and color realism. He has been passionately drawing and painting since the age of 12 and is beyond qualified to design and apply your perfect tattoo!
