HOW CAN I BOOK A TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

Each artist books their own appointments and their contact info can be found on their respective artist pages. Some prefer emails, some have inquiry forms for you to fill out, others prefer DMs. Reach out to the artist of your choice and they’ll be happy to get back to you!
You are always welcome to drop into the shop for a walk-in tattoo or you may get lucky and be able to speak with your artist in person.
We unfortunately do not make appointments over the phone.

HOW CAN I BOOK A PIERCING APPOINTMENT?

The state of Illinois requires you to be 18 years of age to get tattooed, no exceptions. This means that you cannot get tattooed even with parental consent, or a legal guardian, or a signed permission slip from god.

Piercing fee - 1 piercing for $40, 2 piercings for $50, and 3 piercings for $60.
Jewelry is subjective in cost. Implant grade titanium starts at $30, gold starts at $90 (although we don’t carry options in gold for every piercing). We have a wide selection of beautiful custom jewelry that you can browse.

HOW MUCH FOR A SLEEVE?

…How much for a bag of groceries? It all depends on what’s in it. Pick an artist and chat with them about your specific tattoo ideas and they should be able to give you a rough estimate.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR MY TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

We require you to provide a valid photo ID - (State ID, FOID card, Military ID).
As for recommendations, we suggest wearing comfortable, loose fitting clothes that you don’t mind possibly getting ink on.
We also suggest eating a meal or having some food in your system prior to getting tattooed. You are always welcome to bring snacks or drinks, and bottled water will be available upon request.
Some people like to bring along things to read, watch, or hold. Whatever makes you most comfortable is encouraged.

CAN MY FRIEND(S) COME?

You’re more than welcome to invite a friend or emotional support human, but please be aware that there may or may not be tons of available seating depending on how busy the shop is at the time of your appointment. There are plenty of local cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of the shop if your friends or family want to drop in for a brief visit and have somewhere else to relax for the duration of the appointment.

DO TATTOOS HURT?

Short answer, yeah. Long answer, probably not as much as you’re expecting. Everyone is different and each tattoo experience is going to be unique. Tattoos tend to feel like a sunburn being scratched, a small electric shock, or a cat scratch. If they were unbearable, we wouldn’t be in business. You’ll make it and you’ll be pumped that you did.

CRYSTAL LAKE - There is plenty of street parking surrounding the shop on both Main St. and Beardsly Ave as well as a full parking lot directly behind the building. All of which have suggested time limits, but are not enforced.
CHICAGO - There is free street parking on Milwaukee Ave.
